Enriching our students thanks to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce

Any degree programme, especially an MBA, is not just about lectures and seminars. It is also about discussions and the exchange of experiences with fellow students or the contact with our individual guests or guest companies during corporate workshops.

A special source of enriching encounters and cultural experiences is our partnership with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic. Thanks to a close cooperation with its president, Jiří Krejča, our students are able to participate in networking events, meetings with ambassadors, visits to companies such as Václav Havel Airport and music events in the Municipal House.

Several recent events stand out: the debate between two ambassadors where the Canadian ambassador interviewing her US counterpart; the aeronautical experience at the Czech Aviation Training Centre, which included mock evacuations and simulator flying; and the networking event organised by five foreign chambers of commerce, which brought different communities together.

Helping our students broaden their intellectual horizons and business networks is an integral part of our mission and it is great to have a partner like the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
