We Reaffirmed Our Triple Crown Excellence
The Faculty of Business Administration at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) has successfully renewed its prestigious EQUIS and AMBA accreditations for another three years. This achievement represents an important milestone not only for the Faculty, but also for all current and future participants of the Executive MBA programme.
International accreditations serve as an independent confirmation that a business school meets rigorous global standards in areas such as academic quality, programme design, faculty expertise, internationalisation, corporate engagement, and the overall student experience. They also demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and regular benchmarking against leading institutions worldwide.
For Executive MBA participants, these accreditations provide reassurance that they are investing their time, energy, and resources in a programme that is recognised and respected internationally.
EQUIS, awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), is held by only around 1% of business schools worldwide. The accreditation evaluates institutions holistically, assessing their governance, strategy, research output, executive education activities, international outlook, ethics and sustainability, as well as their connections to the business community.
AMBA, the Association of MBAs accreditation, is one of the most respected quality labels dedicated specifically to MBA programmes. It is awarded to fewer than 300 business schools globally and remains a distinctive mark of excellence among MBA programmes in the Central and Eastern European region.
Together with AACSB accreditation, these recognitions place the Faculty of Business Administration among the select group of business schools worldwide that hold the so-called Triple Crown status – an achievement attained by only a small fraction of institutions globally.
For Executive MBA students, the value of these accreditations extends beyond rankings and prestige. They contribute to attracting experienced executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals from different industries and countries, creating a highly diverse learning environment where peer-to-peer exchange becomes one of the most valuable aspects of the educational journey.
The renewal of EQUIS and AMBA accreditations reflects the dedication of faculty members, programme teams, alumni, students, and corporate partners who continuously contribute to the development of the Executive MBA programme.
As we look ahead, these international recognitions reaffirm our commitment to delivering an Executive MBA experience that combines academic rigour, practical relevance, international perspective, and leadership development for executives navigating increasingly complex business environments.
