Pride in Practice: the Capstone Project

The Capstone Project is an integral part of study in our MBA programme. For the project, we selected a case study on the Adidas corporation. During the two-day period, which took place on May 12 and 13, the students sought to answer the question as to how Adidas may manage with the decline in brick-and-mortar sales and the increase in online sales during the COVID pandemic. The project concentrated on the assignment of the current problem and its solution.

Students benefitted from a unique opportunity to analyse a complex business problem from multiple angles; to conduct independent group research, and then propose an innovative solution for the described circumstances. All conducted under the intensive supervision of Richard Brunet-Thornton and Vojtěch Opleštil, who assisted in the structure of their ideas and gradually, arrive at a solution.

Intensive analysis of a specific problem in a closed team is demanding, but at the same time, very rewarding. The photos are witness to the dedication of the teams to resolve the various problems. We thank everyone involved for their efforts
