Executive MBA cohort 2025 has arrived
The Faculty of Business Administration at the Prague University of Economics and Business is proud to welcome the new class of the Executive MBA programme. With the start of the academic year, a new group of experienced professionals has embarked on a two-year journey that will challenge their skills, broaden their perspectives, and prepare them for leadership in a global context.
This year marks a significant milestone: the number of students has grown by more than 50 percent compared to the previous cohort. On average, participants bring nearly fifteen years of professional experience, creating a strong basis for peer-to-peer learning. The class is truly international, with students coming from sixteen countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. International participants account for 67 percent of the group.
The diversity of professional backgrounds is equally impressive. Students represent a wide range of industries including advertising, automotive, financial services, FMCG, IT security, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and many others. Such variety ensures that classroom discussions are enriched by multiple perspectives and practical insights.
Women currently make up 15 percent of the cohort. While this share is lower than we would like, the programme is committed to supporting gender diversity and encouraging more female professionals to join in the future.
The introductory Bootcamp offered not only a preview of the demanding study programme but also a unique opportunity to connect with alumni. We were delighted to welcome Mo Omara, graduate of the EMBA, who shared how the programme shaped his entrepreneurial project, and Michal Janda, who contributed valuable perspectives from his own experience.
We warmly welcome the Class of 2025 and wish all participants success as they engage with our motto: “A Demanding Programme for a Challenging World.”
