Networking Dinner: An Evening of Connection Across the Executive MBA Community
The Executive MBA community at the Faculty of Business Administration, VŠE, came together for a Networking Dinner at the historic Café Louvre in Prague. Around fifty participants joined the evening, including current students from several cohorts, alumni, and members of our faculty. What followed was an atmosphere shaped by friendly conversations, shared experiences, and the kind of openness that makes an Executive MBA network genuinely valuable.
Creating Space for Conversations That Matter
Networking at the Executive MBA level is not an add-on to the academic experience. It is one of its essential pillars. Bringing together participants from diverse countries, industries and leadership roles creates a space where ideas move freely, perspectives broaden, and professional relationships develop naturally.
The evening offered exactly that. Current students had the opportunity to meet peers from other cohorts, get to know one another better, and exchange insights from their respective fields. Alumni returned to the community with the perspective of having completed the programme, openly sharing what the Executive MBA meant for their professional journeys. Meeting faculty members created space for deeper discussions that extend beyond the classroom.
A Community That Extends Beyond the Classroom
One of the defining features of our Executive MBA is the way relationships continue to develop long after graduation. Events such as this dinner help strengthen a professional network and build friendships that support participants throughout their careers. Whether through shared projects, career transitions, or simply by having access to peers facing similar challenges in their business lifes.
The Networking Dinner reaffirmed that studying in the Executive MBA program does not end with lectures and case discussions. It also happens in conversations over dinner, in the exchange of experience between senior leaders, and in the connections that evolve with time.
Looking Ahead
We are pleased that the program once again created an opportunity to bring together professionals from different countries, industries, backgrounds, and experience levels. The evening at Café Louvre was a reminder of how valuable this community is. Not only academically, but personally and professionally.
More events follow in the coming months as we continue to build an Executive MBA environment that extends far beyond the university setting and supports lifelong learning.
A warm thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the atmosphere of openness, curiosity, and genuine connection.
