Corporate Governance, Legal Environment and Business Ethics
This module delves into the legal and ethical principles in the management of varying types of enterprises and organizations. In addition, the module discusses the application of business law and ethics based on managerial responsibility in European Union.
The module corporate governance and legal framework teach on the one hand the definition, goals, and examples of corporate governance and its strategies in the EU context today.
On the other hand it provides with the necessary legal framework such as legal risk management, liability strategies, basics in intellectual properties and basics in mergers / acquisitions and International Civil and Commercial Law.
The philosophical and practical frame of legal behavior is to understand on the ethical background of thinking. Students will understand the historical premises and modern challenges of ethical behavior.
